For best machine polishing results, work in 2′ x 2′ sections at low speed (1,200–1,800 RPM for DA), keeping the pad flat on the surface and overlapping passes by 50%. Apply product directly to the pad, not the surface, for even distribution. The goal at each polishing stage is to remove the scratch pattern from the previous step — confirm each stage is complete by checking under direct LED light before advancing to the next finer product.
